Accounts Receivable/Payable (Including Payroll)

         Obtains revenue & pays invoices by verifying and completing payable and receivable transactions

         Accounts Receivable/Payable Clerk Job duties

         Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information

         Pays invoices by verifying transaction information; scheduling & preparing disbursements; obtaining authorization of payment

         Obtains revenue by verifying transaction information; computing charges and refunds; preparing and mailing invoices; identifying delinquent accounts and insufficient payments

         Collects revenue by reminding delinquent accounts; notifying customers of insufficient payments

         Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarising account ledgers by posting account transactions

         Verifies accounts by reconciling statements and transactions

         Secures financial information by completing data base backups

Skills/Qualifications:

         Previous trucking experience definite asset

         Must be PROFICIENT in QUICKBOOOKS (need to know how to set-up, not just entry)

         Must be able to handle fast pace environment & quick thinking situations

         Administrative writing skills

         Organization

         Data entry skills

         General math skills

         Analyzing information

         Information to detail, thoroughness, reporting research results, verbal communication

         Team Player

         Must be willing to work the odd weekend and later days

         Benefits after three months

         Wage based on experience and negotiable

         Hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Duties include:

         Parking vehicles

         Cutting and trimming grass

         Cleaning lot vehicles with pressure truck

         Light snow removal and lot care
