Proximity to Markets: 

Innisfree is located approximately 145km east of Edmonton on Highway 16 (also known as The Yellowhead) one of the main arteries through the province of Alberta.  Innisfree is also only a 25 minute drive away from the thriving town of Vermilion and an hour drive away from Lloydminster, Canada's border city. 

Rail Service: 

Canadian National Railways has a single line running through Innisfree that presently stops at the Alberta Pool elevator located in Innisfree.

Air Services:

The nearest airport is in Vermilion, where there is a 1,006.09 metre runway.

Trucking Firms: 

Staden Trucking operating out of Vermilion (approx. 25 min. east) provides the village with carting solutions.

Bus Service: 

Greyhound visits the community every day and provides the village with the alternative of bus travel.

Media: 

Innisfree receives coverage by both the Vegreville  and Vermilion newspapers.  They can receive a variety of AM radio stations along with television stations from Edmonton and Lloydminster.

Water and Sewer Utility: 

These Utilities are provided by the Village of Innisfree and they can be contacted at (780) 592-3886.

Gas Utility: 

Northwestern Utilities Ltd. provides this Natural Gas to The Village of Innisfree while the surrounding area is serviced by Minco Gas.  Northwest can be contacted at (780) 632-2160 and Minco at (780) 592-3818

The Village of Innisfree Offers this service within the community, while the rural residents can dispose of their Non-Recyclable's at the Mannville Regional Landfill (approx. 15 min. east).
