Recreation Facilities: Recreation Facilities in Two Hills are centered within D.M. Gelata Recreational Park. The Park includes an ice arena, curling rink, ball parks, rodeo grounds, tennis courts, beach volleyball courts, and picnic sites along the banks of the Vermilion River. Other recreational facilities in Two Hills include the Community Centre with a fitness room, meeting rooms, and a museum. Two Hills also boasts a newly renovated swimming pool with leisure pool, and children's pool.
The Two Hills Lions Golf and Country Club features one of the most challenging and picturesque golf courses in northeastern Alberta. The Club offers banquet facilities, confectionery, pro-shop, and golf rentals (power and pull-carts available).
The Two Hills Senior Citizens Centre is located next to the
Two Hills and Area Heritage Park. There are also a number of childrens playgrounds
Parks and Trails: Sandy Lake Park, located just 9 km west and 13 km north of Two Hills, provides a beach area, tap water, wood on site, flush toilets, playgrounds, fishing, boating and more.
A municipal campsite with ten stalls is located in Geleta Park. Another campsite is located across from the Two Hills Golf Course.
In addition, John Dudar Park offers a unique camping experience or if you are into water recreation Lac Sante or the North Saskatchewan River are just a 15 minute drive north of our community.
Community Organizations: Over 25 community organizations and service clubs work together to improve the quality of life in Two Hills. Strong volunteerism and community spirit are a local strength. Listings of community organizations are available from FCSS.
Cultural Diversity: Two Hills is a multi-cultural community, established in 1927 during the CPR construction. Immigrants from central and eastern Europe arrived in the area at the turn of the century. The first homestead was registered over one hundred years ago.
The Two Hills Historical Museum preserves many displays from early settlers and pioneers of the Two Hills district. The life-like bronze Centenary Statue, located in the Two Hills and Area Heritage Park, commemorates 100 years of Ukrainian settlement in Canada.
Special Events and Attractions: The Two Hills Lions Club organizes annual Sports Days, featuring a two day softball tournament, horseshoe tournament, beer gardens and dance, Sunday pancake breakfast and parade, bench exhibits and roast beef barbecue. The Sports Days are held annually.
There is also an annual Ukrainian Dancers Concert, Farmers Day Celebration, Ice Show, Snowmobile Rally, Community Christmas Concert, and several curling bonspiels.
Attractions include the Two Hills Historical Museum, the Centenary Statue and the beautifully scenic Vermilion River valley running through town.
We are also home of authentic Ukrainian cuisine that can be purchased at the many bake sales that happen throughout the year or by booking one of the many caterers in our area.
Theatre, Drama, Music Groups: Two Hills is host to a number of Ukrainian choir groups, and a theatre group that performs for local causes such as the swimming pool.
Religious Facilities: Five Churches, including the Ukrainian Orthodox, Ukrainian Catholic, United Church, Evangelical Church and the Christian Gospel Assembly, serve the religious needs of the community.
Camping Facilities: Camping is available at municipal campgrounds located in and around the Town.
Crime Rate: Crime rates are low; any crimes tend to be sporadic and quickly solved. Two Hills is a safe community in which to live and raise a family.
Pollution: Two Hills is on the doorstep of a natural playground. Clean air, water and environment are part of Two Hills attraction. There are no pollution concerns in Two Hills.
Hospitality and Accommodation: A variety of dining is offered by six restaurants. Three local establishments provide accommodation.

Topography of Community and Area: Two Hills is located in the Prairie Parkland Zone. The landscape is hilly, with trees. The Vermilion River runs through Town. Just north of Town flows the North Saskatchewan. Numerous lakes lie nestled in the close vicinity.
